 Itinerary


Day 1, Depart New York

Day 2, Arrive Nairobi, Kenya.
Welcome to Kenya, birthplace of the safari. After a warm greeting upon arrival at Nairobi's international airport, you are transferred to your hotel for your first night spent under African skies.
THE TRIBE

Day 3, Masai Mara
Depart from Nairobi's Wilson Airport on your southwest bound flight for Kenya's premiere wildlife reserve, the Masai Mara. Arrive in camp in time for a bite of lunch and make yourself comfortable. Embark on your forst gamedrive thisafternoon in search of the "big five" and other Mara residents. Return to camp in time for dinner, served either in the mess tent or around a campfire.
OFFBEAT MARA CAMP (B,D)

Day 4-5, Masai Mara
Your days in the Masai Mara begin in the soft pre-dawn light, heading out into the bush to observe the activity of the nocturnal predators before they settle somewhere in the shade to hide from the heat of the day. You return to camp in time for a mid-morning breakfast and after lunch, embark on your afternnon gamedrive. Custom Land Cruisers are outfitted to ensure your comfort during day and night time gamedrives.

Day 6, Masai Mara
If you've been having trouble adjusting to the early morning wake-up calls, today is your lucky day as your get to sleep in for another hour. Then after breakfast, embark on your ride across the vast Mara plains toward your luxury tented camp located in the heart of the Mara with gameviewing all along the way. Arrive at camp in time for lunch and then embard on an afternoon gamedrive.

Day 7-8, Masai Mara
Strategically positioned close to all the major wildebeest crossing sites over the Mara River, your camp is in the ideal location which ensures tremendous wildlife viewing opportunities.

Day 9, Depart Nairobi
After the morning game activity, it's a flight north to Nairobi. Dayroom arrangements are provided at The Tribe before returning to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your international homebound flight. (B)
