AIRPORT GRANDE HOTEL

Day 2, Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe
Your adventure begins with a flight to the spectacular Victoria Falls, hailed as one of the seven Natural Wonders of the World. Settle into your ideally situated lodging and explore the meticulously landscaped grounds, just a short walk to the phenomenal cascades. Experience the other-worldly grandeur above the falls as you board a small luxury cruise boat for a "sundowner" cruise along the Zambezi River. You’ll maneuver through multiple river inlets which the larger boats simply can’t reach - so be ready with your camera and binoculars to spot elephants, crocodile, hippos and a myriad of bird species.
ILALA HOTEL

Day 3, Victoria Falls
Look out for rainbows as you walk the misty rain forest trail along the Zimbabwean side of the falls. Marvel at the spray and thunderous noise of the millions of gallons of water tumbling over Main Falls, Horseshoe Falls and Rainbow Falls and swirling around the islets. Set out for the bush to experience yet another once-a-lifetime opportunity - an extraordinary safari aboard the back of a gentle elephant.
ILALA HOTEL

Day 4, Hwange National Park
Bid farewell to the wondrous waterfalls and prepare for a journey to the land of the giants - that is, Hwange National Park, known for its huge herds of elephants. You’ll have three days to explore Zimbabwe’s largest game preserve, extending from the northeastern end of the Kalahari Desert to the extensive forests, open grasslands and ancient fossil dunes in the south. Settle into your authentic bush camp, a blend of old African charm and elegance, tucked away on an acacia island with breathtaking views of the savannah plains. The wide and well-travelled elephant paths throughout your lodging grounds mean you won’t have to look far to spot the massive mammals.
SOMALISA CAMP

Day 5, Hwange National Park
Rise early to join your expert guide for a game ride in an open-air safari vehicle and get up close to some of the 100 species of mammals. Catch the soft morning light for wonderful photographs of the grazing buffalo and giraffe and the more uncommon gemsbok, roan antelope and white rhino. Tonight, revel in the glorious sunset and toast your adventures over a delicious dinner with wine. Perhaps, join a night game drive, spotlighting the nocturnal animals in action.
SOMALISA CAMP

Day 6, Hwange National Park
Begin the day with a game ride to explore Kennedy Vlei, blanketed with seasonal wild flowers after the rains, and a haven for large herds of buffalo, zebra and elephant as its lush grasses dry out. After a leisurely lunch and refreshing dip in the pool, join a walking safari and tuck into various viewing hides to look out for kudu, sable antelope, zebra and wildebeest. Birdwatchers will revel in checking off how many of the park’s 400 types of birds they can spot.
SOMALISA CAMP

Enjoy two days exploring the pristine wilderness of Chobe National Park, home to four out of five of the Big Five. Awaken with birdsong and a steaming cup of coffee as you hop aboard a comfortable 4x4 safari jeep with your professional guide to seek out the hundreds of animals. Listen for the low growls of the lioness and her cubs. Take in the vistas of vast herds of Cape Buffalo. Watch for the leopard snoozing in the shadows . Later, lace up your hiking shoes for a guided bush walking adventure to learn more about animal tracking, plants and identifying insects.
