Renowned for its physical beauty, Uganda offers a variety of gorilla trekking experiences in the Kibale Forest, Queen Elizabeth National Park and Bwindi (The Impenetrable Forest). The country is home to thirteen different species of primate, including the mountain gorilla. The region around Ishasha is noted for its tree-climbing lions, often seen lounging in old fig trees. Day 1, Entebbe, Uganda

Day 2 - 3, Kibale Forest
Travel westward through rolling fertile green hills to the crater lakes region for a two night stay. Track the noisy chimps and other primates as they crash through the high canopy of the forest while colorful birds call to each other nearby.
KYANINGA LODGE
Day 4 - 5, Queen Elizabeth National Park
Continue to the grassy plains, volcanic craters and tropical forests of Queen Elizabeth National Park, claiming one of the highest biodiversity ratings in the world. This superb safari territory is home to almost 100 mammal species including lion, elephant, hippo, and several primates. An excursion to Kyambura Gorge and the Kazinga Channel sunset cruise are sure to impress!
KYAMBURA LODGE
Day 6 - 7, Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
Your safari adventure continues towards its climax as you spend two days in the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Visit the local pygmy community, discover the primates, unusual birds and butterflies. Now its time to track the endangered Mountain Gorilla. The hike is typically strenuous, but the reward is without comparison. The one hour spent with these majestic families is indescribable - and must be experienced.
