Itinerary

Day 1, Arrive George / Knysna, South Africa
Upon arrival in George today, you are met by our representative and transferred to your reserved hotel in Knysna.

Day 2, Knysna
Today, your private tour will take you to Monkeyland and Birds of Eden. You will also visit the Knysna Elephant Park for a "trunk in hand" experience. This is a free-range controlled environment, which means that the elephants get to walk and browse in the fields as they would in the wild.
LAKE PLEASANT HOTEL

Day 3, Knysna / Port Elizabeth
You will be transferred overland via a beautiful drive to Port Elizabeth. Port Elizabeth is the gateway to the Eastern Cape and is located on the south eastern coastline of Africa. Today you will have your choice of an ecological boat trip from Plettenberg Bay exploring the coastline; a visit to Bayworld Museum complex, an oceanarium, museum, and snake park; an exploratory trip to Seaview Lion Park, which offers the unique experience of close-up game-viewing.
SHAMWARI TOWNHOUSE

Day 4, Shamwari Game Reserve
This morning you are transferred to the Shamwari Game Reserve, in which a multitude of plant, animal, and bird life unfolds the very soul of untamed Africa. Your time at Shamwari will be spent on afternoon and morning game drives in this private reserve. Night drives can be arranged.
SHAMWARI GAME RESERVE - RIVERDENE LODGE

Day 5, Shamwari Game Reserve
Game viewing is carried out today during the morning and evening when you are guided by your game ranger in an open game viewing vehicle within Shamwari. Guided walks can be arranged and are often be the highlight of your African trip, for it is only then that you gain a true perspective of the fauna and flora around you.
SHAMWARI GAME RESERVE - RIVERDENE LODGE

Day 6, Shamwari Game Reserve
Another great full day of game drives. Night drives with the aid of a spotlight provide additional excitement, while your ranger will comply with your every need. Shamwari boasts five eco-systems, thus enabling the support of many forms of plant, animal and bird life.
SHAMWARI GAME RESERVE - RIVERDENE LODGE

Day 7, Shamwari / Depart Port Elizabeth
There will be an early morning game drive before returning to the lodge for breakfast. After a bit of relaxation, it is time to transfer to Port Elizabeth airport for your departure flight.
