As far back as Jessica can remember she has always dreamed of traveling the world. Her first trip overseas was a full-tuition scholarships at age 16 to study in Ireland. Following that trip the next decade of her life was spent achieving her dream of world travel. She started with the traditional backpacking trips through Europe, Central/South America and the United States. In 2005 Jessica ventured out to conquer her goal of traveling overland Cape Town to Cairo. Africa would be her finale ‘grand finale’ journey. Shortly after arriving in Cape Town she decided she had found her calling and spent 2 years traveling and working throughout South East Africa & Egypt. Her travels have taken her to over 50 countries and every continent except Antarctica.

Her travel industry experience ranges from leading African overland safaris & tours up the Nile to working as a cabin attendant on a private Gulfstream 450 jet. Jessica returned to suburban life in 2009 taking a position as a Business Development Manager for a South Pacific Tour Operator. Jessica is enthusiastic about Africa and working closely to support her West Coast Travel Advisors.

Jessica,

…I was so excited to send a booking your way.  Mirlin and Nora  (in the air department) have been so helpful.  It was a learning experience for me as this is my first African Safari.  The client walked in with two itineraries from the internet.  With Mirlin’s expertise we found an itinerary that fit for the time of year and maximum animal viewing.

It came as a surprise that like in Great Britain, South Africans – and as far as I know all of Africa – drive on the left hand side. I checked into my hotel and I decided to ask a young black man named Tebo where the center of town might be. He could tell I had just arrived and asked to accompany me. (Read More…)

Hi Jessica!

It was indeed a pleasure to meet you yesterday!  Thank you so very much for the very enjoyable lunch.

I am very pleased with the excellent attention that African Travel, Inc. has given me and making me feel that my business is valued.  I think you are a superb addition to their sales staff and I believe you have the professionalism, friendliness, and know-how to be an excellent asset to African Travel.  You already are!
