South Africa Safari Extraordinaire is a recipe for the perfect adventure. Beginning at a five star hotel on the Cape Town waterfront, you’ll commence your culinary and cultural immersion with a class in Cape Malay cooking. The mix of exotic spices, game meats and fresh seafood are the springboard for your leap into the local viticulture. Wines have been produced in the Cape as far back as the 1600’s and the region in and around historic Stellenbosch are home to a number of award-winning wineries. |
| Your
journey concludes with three nights at one of the most lavish private safari lodges in the Kruger area. After a day in the bush
tracking leopard, lion and other world class wildlife, retire to the kitchen with chef John Jackson, where you can participate in
preparing a meal or marvel at the skills demonstrated by this recipient of the Chaine des Rotisseurs Blazon for Cuisine. The intricate flavors of Africa will remain on your palate for many years to come. |
