Day 1, Depart USA
Begin your journey to the land of the pharaohs.

Day 2 - 3, Cairo, Egypt
A full day of private sightseeing reveals the highlights of Memphis, Sakkara and Giza.

Day 4 - 7, Nile Cruise
Fly to Luxor for a four night Nile cruise to Aswan, with guided touring of Kom Ombo,
Valley of the Kings, Valley of the Queens and Karnak.

  Day 8 - 9, Cairo
  Wing back to Cairo with full day to visit the Citadel, Mosque of Mohammed Ali and
  the rich treasures of the Cairo Museum

Day 10, Nairobi, Kenya
Afternoon touring includes the Karen Blixen Museum and Giraffe Center. A home host dinner will be one of the highlights of your Kenya stay!
INTERCONTINENTAL HOTEL

Day 11 - 12, Samburu
Fly north over the verdant Kikuyu farmlands and beyond Mount Kenya to the rounded, rugged hills of Samburu. Gameviewing offers the chance to view Somali ostrich, reticulated giraffe, gerenuk and Grevy's zebra - species only found in this drier climate.
INTREPIDS TENTED CAMP

Day 13 - 14, Mount Kenya
Continue to Mount Kenya. Spend some time in the animal orphanage and visit the local crafts center and community projects in neighboring Nanyuki.
MOUNT KENYA SAFARI CLUB

Day 15 - 17, Masai Mara
Today's wing safari lands in the Masai Mara - Kenya's top game viewing destination. Three wildlife activities per day are sure to conjure up magical sightings of lion, leopard, elephant and many other species.
INTREPIDS TENTED CAMP

Day 18 Depart Nairobi
A final drive onto the plains before bidding farewell to the Mara, flying to Nairobi and onward to your hometown destination.

Day 19, Arrive USA
