Sample the highlights of South Africa on this seven day introduction to the Rainbow Nation. Located on the shore of Table Bay, Cape Town is famous for its harbor as well as its natural setting in the Cape floral kingdom, including such well-known landmarks as Table Mountain and Cape Point.

Sited in the eastern parts of Limpopo and Mpumalanga provinces, Kruger National Park is one of the largest national parks in the world. Divided into six ecosystems, Kruger is home to 253 species of birds and hosts another 264 migratory species. In addition to the Big Five (lion,
leopard, African elephant, black rhinocerous and Cape buffalo), the region is endemic to another 142 species of mammals.

Day 1, Depart USA
Your safari begins as you depart from the USA today en route to South Africa.

Day 2, Arrive Cape Town, South Africa
Welcome to South Africa. Transfer to your hotel.

Day 3, Cape Town
Ease into the local pace of things this morning on a scheduled visit to Table Mountain, one
of the most visibly recognizable landmarks of the Cape. After descending the mountain, the excursion continues through some of the city highlights, concluding back at the waterfront.
The remainder of the day is at leisure.

Day 4, Cape Town
Today's scheduled excursion includes an absolute "must do" when you visit the Cape, and that is a trip to the tip of the Cape Peninsula. You can almost imagine that you are on the very bottom of the world. Along the way, you'll pass through scenic coastal villages, fishing towns and picturesque Cape Dutch architecture.

Day 5, Cape Town
The day is at your leisure. If you wish to indulge your taste buds, you can take an optional excursion to the winelands where, in addition to tasting the fruit of the vines, you’ll sample local chocolates, cheeses and breads. If you desire something a bit more adventurous, there is an optional excursion to Gansbaii for the chance to do shark cage diving.

Day 6, Cape Town / Kruger National Park
Depart the Cape on northbound flight service to Johannesburg and then on to your private safari lodge in Kruger National Park. This afternoon, you will experience the thrill of your first wildlife excursion.

Days 7, Kruger National Park
The day in Kruger allow for morning and afternoon wildlife viewing excursions and the opportunity to pass through the bushveld on escorted bush walks.

Day 8, Kruger National Park / Johannesburg
After one final gameviewing excursion, fly back to Johannesburg in time to connect with your international homebound flight or on to your next destination. (B)
