The country is home to thirteen different species of primate, including the mountain gorilla. The region around Ishasha is noted for tree-climbing lions, often seen lounging in old fig trees. The photographic opportunities are numerous as you experience a country that is also the source of the Nile River.

Note: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi can be extremely arduous.
