Our support of the African way of life goes beyond introducing thousands of visitors to the continent. By developing and promoting tourism to Africa, African Travel has been able to positively impact environmental awareness, wildlife conservation and cultural preservation.
African Travel supports two charitable associations that are dear to our hearts: The Cheetah Outreach, South Africa (member of The Cheetah Alliance) and the Maasai Wilderness Conservation Fund, Kenya. These charities champion causes that are not only noble but necessary.
The Cheetah Alliance has developed an online environment for children to connect with other children around the world about the living creatures of our planet. Not a fundraising organization, The Cheetah Alliance only wants to raise awareness through exposure and education. Empower the children of today and they will be willing participants tomorrow.

www.cheetahalliance.org		 We invite you to join us in one of three ways. (1) When you travel with African Travel, a portion of the profits goes towards these causes. (2) If you make payment for your travels by cash or check, African Travel will, in turn, donate an additional 1% of the total trip cost to the traveler’s choice of either charity. (3) Make a direct charitable contribution as outlined below.

Can you imagine a world without cheetahs, elephants, giraffes or lions? What a loss it would be if the richness of the Maasai culture was delegated to something that our children read about in their history books rather than experienced first hand? How is it possible that when shown pictures of the indigenous wildlife, local African children are unable to identify them? Through education and giving local people the opportunity for personal investment we can effect change.
Your 100% tax-deductible donations will be accepted here, in the United States, with 100% of the proceeds being forwarded to the charity directly without government bureaucracy interfering with the process.
